What is Plasma Fibroblast Skin Tightening?
Plasma Pen opens the door to a revolutionary soft surgery approach that brings an end to invasive skin treatments, offers faster recovery time and improves the appearance of skin without going under the knife. Whether you are looking to tighten, lift or rejuvenate your skin, soft surgery with Plasma Pen offers the most natural and attainable results.

Soft surgery with Plasma Pen means no down-time, no damaging effects and very little aftercare. During soft surgery, the skin is treated with controlled bursts of plasma gas in order to lift and tighten the treated area. Without damaging the tissue, I can now carry out numerous soft surgery treatments, including forehead lifts, crows feet smoothing, jaw augmentation, eye lifts and bunny lines. These soft surgery treatments can also be used to smooth acne scarring and uneven skin tone.
Because these procedures are non-evasive, there is no need for a general anaesthetic, as required with more traditional surgeries, and they are carried out by approved Plasma Pen Aestheticians. (Scroll down for pricing.)
Why do I want this treatment?
Your highly trained and certified technician will use the Plasma Pen device to deliver "soft-surgery" plasma fibroblasting. The plasma significantly tightens, lifts, resurfaces, and regenerates practically any area of the skin.

Fibroblast Plasma Lift removes or reduces fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, uneven coloration, sagging skin on your neck or tummy, and eliminates skin imperfections like skin tags and sun damage.
The results are only comparable to plastic surgery, and in most areas, are permanent. To put the prices into perspective, the cost of Fraxel laser skin resurfacing is $1,800 - $2,500 and a facelift is $7,200 - $14,000.

Plasma Pen converts electrical energy into gaseous diatomic molecular nitrogen and transmits that energized gas in a non-contact way to the skin’s surface from above. This causes a micro-trauma to the skin’s epidermal layer (top layers) whilst simultaneously heating and disrupting the deeper dermal structure via thermal conduction. This treatment is also known as fibroblasting. Fibroblasts are the most common cells of connective tissue in the body that produce collagen.

Picture those fun electric balls you have seen as a kid and how it jumps from the base to your finger as you touch the glass.

Electric energy converts gas from the air into “diatomic molecular nitrogen,” mostly oxygen and nitrogen. It is then transmitted to the skin’s surface in a non-contact way. It will only fire when it's 1mm away or if it touches the skin.

Plasma heats and disrupts all the way down to your dermal layer of skin to create micro-trauma to the tissue. The surface is lightly ablated with a “fanning” technique, at which time the technician creates the little dots in the tissue. Those dots are tiny blood clots with a small scab over the top, which means that unlike with CO2, the tissue is completely closed. This prevents the likelihood of infection risks, making it safer even than Microneedling.

It is a much more predictable result that ablative lasers, and it doesn’t create unnecessary damage. Fibroblast services truly targets the tissue that needs repair and takes care of it. They are also far less risky because the tissue is closed immediately so there’s less chance of infection or permanent damage.
It also has:

-
Less risk of hyperpigmentation than ablative lasers
-
Significantly less downtime
-
Equal or greater results
-
Shorter window of sun sensitivity than many lasers
-
No blood, no open wounds
-
Rapid healing time
-
Average result holds 3 - 5 years
-
It is a PREVENTATIVE treatment as well. No need to wait for loose skin to enjoy the benefits.

How Do Skin Tightening Treatments Differ From Cosmetic Surgery?
We offer arguably the only skin tightening treatment, outside of surgery, that can be safely performed on the eyelids (non-surgical blepharoplasty). Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh is FDA Cleared and one of the only genuine plasma devices capable of safely treating upper and lower eyelids during the same treatment session. With our device, we are actually able to perform most cosmetic surgery procedures with similar effects and outcomes including blepharoplasties, rhytidectomies, jawline augmentations, neck lifts, browplasties, tummy tucks, brachioplasty and much more. We just do it all in a completely non-surgical and non-invasive way.

Acne & Scars
If you’ve suffered from acne and the aftermath from acne, you know the toll it can take on your skin, even when it has subsided. Plasma Pen treats the fibroblasts in your skin at a deeper level than a laser or a chemical peel can, leaving the top layer of your skin free of unsightly wounds. And because treatment of your skin is farther than surface level, healing time is shorter, and results are immediate.

How Long Do Results Last?

Just one Plasma Pen skin tightening treatment will produce INSTANT long-lasting results. Some people need only one treatment, others will need two and even perhaps three treatments to get desired results. The average effects of a Plasma fibroblast session last around three years to five years! In some cases, results even became permanent!

Before any Plasma treatment can be performed, a 30 minute consultation must be scheduled at a fee of $75, which will be credited toward any service at The Beauty Bunker however, it is non-refundable. This consultation is crucial in determining whether or not this type of procedure is right for you. What to expect before and after instructions will be given at this time, as well as a treatment plan. Prepping your skin 1-2 weeks beforehand with clinical grade skincare is very important, so for this reason at your consultation visit, you may be advised to start on an at home lightening treatment.
